The provider and contracting party is the sole proprietorship Subwork Romey, Schinebuelstrasse 30f, 5413 Birmenstorf, Switzerland ("Swiss Karaoke"). Subwork Romey operates the websites swisskaraoke.ch, swisskaraoke.de, swisskaraoke.com, swisskaraoke.fr and swisskaraoke.it. Contact: h.romey@subwork.ch.
The German-language version of these GTC is authoritative. Translations are provided for ease of understanding only; in the event of discrepancies, the German version prevails.
1. Scope
These GTC apply to all offers, bookings and contracts for mobile karaoke services between Swiss Karaoke and the customer. Differing terms of the customer apply only if Swiss Karaoke agrees to them in writing.
2. Conclusion of contract
Offers from Swiss Karaoke are non-binding. The contract is concluded upon written order confirmation (e.g. by e-mail) by Swiss Karaoke or upon performance of the service. The respective order confirmation is decisive for scope and price.
3. Services
Swiss Karaoke provides a full-service karaoke offering. Depending on the booking, this includes delivery, set-up and tear-down, professional sound and lighting equipment, a host/karaoke jockey (KJ) and access to a song catalogue of more than 120,000 titles. Song selection and cueing during the event are handled by the KJ.
4. Prices and VAT
The prices stated in the order confirmation apply. The base price for the full service starts at CHF 1,200. All prices include statutory value added tax.
5. Travel
Within a radius of 100 km around Zurich HB station, travel is included in the price. For greater distances, a travel fee of CHF 1.50 per kilometre is charged; this rate covers the entire round trip.
6. Deposit and payment terms
Upon placing the order, a deposit of 30% of the agreed price is due. For the remaining amount: business customers receive an invoice after the event, payable within 30 days. Private customers pay the remaining amount so that the full price is settled no later than one day before the event. Payment is made by invoice or TWINT. In the event of late payment, default interest and reminder fees may be charged.
7. Cancellation by the customer
Cancellations must be made in writing. The following cancellation fees apply, calculated on the agreed price: up to 30 days before the event free of charge; 29 to 14 days before 25%; 13 to 7 days before 50%; less than 7 days before or no-show 100%. Rescheduling is possible subject to availability and by agreement; otherwise the above cancellation fees apply.
8. Customer obligations
At the venue, the customer provides free of charge a standard 230 V power connection, a level, weather-protected area of at least approx. 3×3 m and access for set-up and tear-down. The customer is responsible for any official permits, compliance with noise protection regulations and the domestic authority at the venue.
9. Equipment and operation
The professional equipment used is operated exclusively by Swiss Karaoke staff and is not left unattended or rented out. The customer is liable for damage to the equipment caused intentionally or through gross negligence by the customer or their guests.
10. Liability and force majeure
Swiss Karaoke is liable for damages only in cases of intent or gross negligence; liability for slight negligence as well as for indirect and consequential damages is excluded to the extent permitted by law. If the service cannot be provided due to force majeure (e.g. severe weather, official orders, illness), an alternative date will be arranged where possible; further claims are excluded.
11. Data protection
Swiss Karaoke processes personal data exclusively within the framework of applicable data protection legislation. Details can be found in the privacy policy on the respective website.
12. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
Swiss law applies exclusively. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Baden (AG). Should individual provisions of these GTC be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.

This privacy policy explains how personal data is processed when you visit the websites of Subwork Romey (swisskaraoke.ch, .de, .com, .fr, .it). The Swiss Data Protection Act (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) apply.
The German-language version of this privacy policy is authoritative. Translations are provided for ease of understanding only; in the event of discrepancies, the German version prevails.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing is: Subwork Romey, Schinebuelstrasse 30f, 5413 Birmenstorf, Switzerland. Contact for data protection matters: h.romey@subwork.ch.
2. Processing when visiting the website
When you access the website, the hosting provider automatically records technical data in server log files (in particular IP address, date and time, page accessed, volume of data transferred, browser type/user agent, referrer). This data serves the secure and stable operation, error analysis and prevention of misuse (e.g. limiting excessive requests). The website is hosted with Microsoft Azure in data centres in Switzerland. An IP address may be processed for approximate location assignment and security logging.
3. Cookies and consent
We use cookies and comparable technologies. Strictly necessary cookies (e.g. for language and theme settings and for consent management) are required for operation. Services requiring consent (statistics, marketing, maps) are only loaded after your approval via our consent tool (Klaro). You can withdraw or adjust your consent at any time via the cookie settings.
4. Contact form and e-mail
If you contact us via the contact form or by e-mail, we process the data you provide (in particular name, e-mail address, telephone number and your message) in order to handle your enquiry and prepare a quote. This data is not used for other purposes without your consent.
5. Google Analytics (GA4)
With your consent (statistics), we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-YBPPBK7W8T) provided by Google Ireland Limited for reach measurement and to improve our offering. Cookies are set and usage data (e.g. truncated IP address, device and browser information, pages visited) is processed. Google Analytics is not loaded without consent.
6. Google Ads
With your consent (marketing), we use the Google Ads tag (ID AW-974459701) to measure the effectiveness of advertising. The tag is not loaded without consent. When you submit a contact form, we additionally transmit what are known as enhanced conversions: the contact details you entered (email address and, where applicable, name and telephone number) are made unreadable in your browser using a cryptographic hash function (SHA-256) and are transmitted to Google in that form only; the plain text never leaves your browser. Google matches these values against correspondingly processed data from signed-in Google accounts in order to attribute an enquiry to a previous ad click, and under the agreed terms may use them for this measurement only. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings at the foot of the page; for disclosure abroad, see section 10.
7. Google Maps
To display our service area, we embed Google Maps with your consent. When the map loads, data (including your IP address) is transmitted to Google. No map is loaded without consent.
8. Fonts (Google Fonts)
For a consistent appearance, fonts are loaded from Google servers (Google Fonts). Your IP address is transmitted to Google in the process. We endeavour to limit such transfers to what is necessary.
9. Google reviews
We display reviews from our Google business profile on our website. These are retrieved server-side via a Google interface and cached; no personal data of website visitors is transmitted to Google in the process.
10. Disclosure to third parties and transfer abroad
To provide our services, we use carefully selected service providers (in particular Microsoft for hosting and Google for analytics, advertising and map services). Data may be transferred to countries outside Switzerland or the EEA – in particular to the USA. We base such transfers on appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses).
11. Retention and deletion
We process personal data only for as long as is necessary for the stated purposes or due to statutory retention obligations. The data is then deleted or anonymised.
12. Your rights
Within the scope of applicable law, you have the right to information, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, to object to processing and to data portability. You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future. To do so, please contact the address stated above.
13. Right to complain and changes
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – in Switzerland with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). We may amend this privacy policy at any time; the version published on the website at the relevant time applies.
Photos and video recordings at events
At events we host (e.g. company parties, weddings) we take photographs and, in part, video recordings. We publish selected images as references/impressions on this website (including the “References” page) and, where applicable, on our social media channels. The legal basis is your consent or our legitimate interest in presenting our services. You may object at any time to the publication of images showing you and request the deletion of specific photos. A short message to contact@swisskaraoke.ch is sufficient – we will remove the images in question promptly.
